ITQAN implements a Total ERP Solution for National Investment Corporation

Abu Dhabi, 13 January 2010 – In light of being recognized at the Microsoft World Partner Conference for its MS Dynamics Great Plains projects, leading systems integrator ITQAN Al-Bawardi closed off another successful MS Dynamics GP implementation for National Investment Corporation.
 
The solution commissioned by ITQAN also includes the implementation of HR and payroll software, eKawader, which was developed and configured by ITQAN on top of MS Dynamics to operate in the UAE market.
 
NIC employees will now perform all core accounting and business management functions on an IT-enabled platform, including financial analysis and reporting, assets management and other business processes. This level of automation will eradicate the challenges and difficulties faced prior to this implementation, where there was inadequate access to financial data related to operations, in addition to very low visibility on project staging and inappropriate tracking of assets.
 
“As a market leader in the field of investment in Abu Dhabi, it was only apt for NIC to have an ERP solution that facilitates how we manage all our finances and operations. We were looking for a solution that would allow reduction in administrative tasks and other unproductive repetitiveness, and at the same time is user-friendly and comprehensive so it gets the support from users in order to make full use of the system,” explains Abdulla Al Saadi, NIC Managing Director. 
 
Along with an ERP solution NIC also needed a human resources and payroll software that would enable the HR department to automate all its processes such as leave management, recruitment, time attendance, payroll, ticketing, etc. and simultaneously have it compliant with UAE labor laws and regulations.
 
ITQAN’s solution eKawader filled that gap seeing that it includes all previously mentioned modules and was specifically customized to operate in local organizations
 
“The business objective of this whole project is to basically elevate NIC employees’ performance by allowing them to focus on the essentials of their jobs. We aimed to have an IT solution that will help us achieve that by increasing productivity and creating overall efficiency. We are satisfied with the turnout of this project, and are confident that the solutions will benefit NIC and bring about a higher ROI on the long run” said Sherif Tohami, NIC IT Manager.
