Requirements: 1. Bachelors degree in communications or other discipline related to the primary responsibilities and two to four years of experience in web design, of which a minimum of one year producing table-less, XHTML, standards-compliant cross browser, and gracefully degrading code 2. Minimum of one year experience with DOM scripting 3. Movable Type Advanced knowledge of XHTML, CSS, and of digital imaging and illustration with Adobe Photoshop, QuarkXPress and Illustrator with formal training being an asset 4. Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, PHP and dynamic HTML 5. Experience with Macromedia Flash 6. Knowledge and demonstrated experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
Skills: 1. Very good spoken and written English (level 5) in order to design prototypes and train staff and faculty 2. Basic knowledge of spoken French (level 3) for routine communication 3. Attention to detail, customer-service orientation, and creativity in problem-solving 4. Ability to work in a team and to communicate in a clear way to provide training to staff and faculty 5. Preferable to have good knowledge in MS Silverlight
